Returning elections to the voters

Opinion: Moving big donors out of politics - Andy Stern and Mark McKinnon - POLITICO.com:

In other words, we can return elections to the hands of the people without costing taxpayers a dime. Passing Fair Elections is a political win-win situation for forward-thinking Democrats and Republicans and a major historic victory for voters. Not since Watergate has a sweeping bill like this advanced as far in Congress.

 Amen brothers Stern and McKinnon. Now, if we could just find a way to pair congressional term limits with campaign finance reform, we might be able to have a system worth saving sometime in the next decade.
