Is the "Pledge" realistic?

Does GOP 'Pledge to America' have any shot? - Jonathan Allen - POLITICO.com:

The Republican ?Pledge to America? is more than just a rhetorical tool for the 2010 campaign trail ? it?s a substantive list of ideas that would get serious debate if the GOP actually wins the House on Nov. 2. But is any of it realistic?

This is a really interesting breakdown of the chances of the GOP's new "Pledge to America" of succeeding if the GOP regains control of the House (or the Congress) this November. The article is fairly long, but it's worth taking a look at the whole thing when you've got the time.

Politico breaks their proposals down individually and gives each rank between 0 and 5 (0 being least likely to happen and 5 being most likely to happen). When it's all said and done, the overall verdict is a 3 out of 5 for the entire list.

As I said in an earlier post, I'll have a more comprehensive post on the pledge once I've had to time to sit down and read through it.
