Don't Get Stuck in the Bubble.

I came across a very short article by Chris Brogan today that made some really salient points. While Mr. Brogan is ostensibly a social media guy, I think the points carry across a wide variety of mediums, including politics.

Beware of Bubble Thinking | chrisbrogan.com.As a society we need to stop thinking that we understand how everybody else feels. The opinions I express on this blog are my own, and I do my best not to play the "I'm right, you're wrong" kind of game, but I'm sure that sometimes it can come across that way. We easily slip into what Chris calls "bubble thinking" because we tend to associate with those most like ourselves, yet we never feel the need to put that thinking aside. Chris is right in asserting that we need to be careful to remain open-minded and make sure that we don't continually contribute to the echo-chamber.
